The ramifications are terrifying.

I’ve always believed that car/truck bombs are the hardest to stop and most likely to be a problem for us. As was point ed out rigth after 9-11, there are more trucks on the road in the SF Bay Area then are in the air over the whole of the US. It would be so easy to ship ten or twelve pallets of hidden Semtex to a certain destination and set it off without anyone being the wiser. You don’t even require the suidcide bomber. Imagine sending two or three shipments to a, or by a, known location and remotely setting it off. It would be so easy.

There are so many cloverleafs and overpasses where a well-placed mega bomb or two could cripple an entire major city.

And then there’s dams, and business centers, and on and on.

And water treatment facilities. Back in 2001 there were some out of place folks climbing over the locked fences at one of the local retention/reservoir thingies. They were praying, at 5PM, and when the local constabulary asked them what was up, they said they were lost and were looking for a boat ramp. No ramps on the water treatment facility.
Went to the FBI as far as I know.

I am certain Al Qaeda will attempt a major attack on the west coast. It is fitting with their M/O. They bombed the WTC twice before they got it right. They tried to bomb LAX in 2000. I’ve no doubt they will try again.
I don’t even go to the malls anymore. I just buy everything online.

At this rate, it’s only a matter of time before someone named Ahmad Jihad becomes President of the United States.

    Love the new site.

Schools and Shopping malls. I always thought the lunch time crowd at the mall would be a good target.

I’ve sat at the gate at the local Air Force Base for security reasons, watching the construction vehicles, driven by mexicans, going through. Big box trucks, flat beds with 500 gallon plastic tanks on them, 2/3’s full of something.

That show could’t be any more impressive if they added a juggling chimp. Who knows, the chimp might look in some places that should be looked in.
